Our Process

This package will start with a discovery call, so I can get a good idea what you need and goals are for your project. After reviewing this package, you can click the related package link and schedule a Discovery Call below. The discovery call is a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation to learn your needs and goals for your project. The next step is, we will send you a design proposal via our online design portal.
After your call, if you would like to move forward, we will create a design proposal customized to your project. Your proposal will be sent to you online with a link to your personal project portal. Once you approve your proposal, we will upload a contract for you to sign along with the first months' payment to get started.
Your Custom Design Services package will be a 5-step process. We will do the first two steps, then we will determine if an architect needs to be brought into this design process before we jump into the design development. See below for our deliverables.

Phase One

Step #1: The Design Analysis

• The Kick-off meeting. You will schedule your first meeting within the design portal
• The is where we review your project scope in more detail
• Determine your design schedule
• Calculate your design investment, and what your cap will be.
• We take your project scope and all the information and move to the next Step.

Step #2 Concept Design

• We create two space planning options for you to review. Including a rendering for each.
• We have a Zoom call so you can give us your feedback.
• From your feedback, we create one final design and determine if an architect is brought into the remaining process.
• Now we jump into the fun stuff and create two vision boards so you can get the style and finishes look and feel tuned in.
• Again we have a zoom cal to review the vision boards.
• From your feedback, we will create one final vision board that will be our roadmap for your materials and finishes when you want to move forward to the design development stage of your project.

Next steps will depend on if there is a need for an architect or not. If the house is small or does not require stamped drawing, we will jump into the second phase of the design. If an architect is required, we will bring them onboard, and he will provide us with a proposal to complete the project.

Phase Two

(No architect required)

Step #3: Design Development

• We like to start this phase with the contract to review and get comments and feedback on the design so he can begin his process of putting together a construction proposal.
• If this proposal with finish allowances does not align with your investment range, we can make adjustments to the concept design.
• Using information gathered in phase one, we will develop your concept design into working drawings for the contractor.
  • Including Plans, elevation, details, window, door and cabinet schedules, lighting design and material and finished schedules.

Step#4: Procurement

• Write Purchase Orders for lighting, figures and finishes for contractor.
• Client approves and pays for all item before orders are placed.
• Place the order to allow ample time to arrive before contractors needs them and modify any items that do not meet the schedule. We like to order products about 6 to 10 week before they are needed onsite.
• Track orders to stay ontop of delievery times.
• Recieve and inspect all products to be turned over to contracto and be installed to complete the finish space such as furniture and accessories.

Step #5: Implimentation

• Contractor walk thur and punch list
• Schedule Installation date & photo shoot
• Install furniture and accessories.
• We will add some accessories for finish touches, client has 7 days to determine what items they may like to keep and purchase.
